The Challenge

50ml.it, a leading Italian niche perfumery e-commerce operating across 9 stores in 7 countries, needed to migrate from a legacy Magento theme to a modern, high-performance storefront — while preserving a complex multi-brand, multi-currency, multi-language setup and dozens of third-party integrations.

Our Solution

We built a complete custom commerce platform on Adobe Commerce Cloud with Hyva theme and Tailwind CSS, developing 20+ bespoke Composer packages (40+ modules) covering:

Multi-brand storefront — unified experience across 9 country-specific stores
Loyalty program — a full-featured tier system with customer segmentation, tier-based shipping rates, reward points, and Klaviyo-powered personalized campaigns
Custom checkout — Hyva checkout with integrated Stripe, Satispay, and Scalapay payments, gift cards, discount wallets, reward points redemption, and order comments
PIM integration — bidirectional Akeneo connector for product data enrichment and catalog management
Sample discount system — a unique wallet-based mechanism that links sample products to full-size purchases with automatic coupon generation
Shipping intelligence — country and SKU-based shipping restrictions, customer-segment-aware table rates, and SendCloud fulfillment integration
Marketing stack — Klaviyo email/SMS automation, Trustpilot review widgets, GA4 Pro analytics, Channable product feeds, and Awin affiliate tracking
Infrastructure — S3 media storage, Valkey cache, OpenSearch, and automated CI/CD deployment across integration, staging, and production environments.
